Counseling is a journey of self-exploration and meant to increase a client’s level of self-understanding and self-awareness. Jane is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor with over 13 years of experience in mental health. As a person-centered therapist, she believes in unconditional positive regard, acceptance, empathy, and reflection of feelings. She strives to create a safe space for clients to self-reflect and share while acquiring the necessary tools to reach their goals. She takes a collaborative and supportive stance to meet each client where they are. She is open to using a wide array of eclectic interventions which include but are not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive art therapy, person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and strength-based therapy. Deciding to engage in counseling is an important and personal decision. Jane will always meet you where you are and listen without judgment.
For more than 25 years I have committed my personal and professional life to working with people to ease their pain, feel empowered, and learn to love themselves. During this time,I have had gained invaluable experience in a number of clinical mental health capacities. I am privileged and proud to offer clients a uniquely holistic approach to counseling and wellness.
